Grade 347 Stainless Steel Coil is iron-based alloys contain at least 10.5% chromium and stabilized addition of Niobium.

This general purpose 347 austenitic Stainless Steel Coil has a face-centered cubic structure that is not sensitive to intergranular corrosion after heating in carbide precipitation.

Addition of Niobium gives 347 coil excellent resistance to chromium carbide precipitation.
